We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Mechanic to join E-ppl, a leading supplier of Managed Services within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will support our customer based in the Midlands.
Requirements:
- IMI Level 3 certification in Electric Hybrid Systems Repair and Replacement is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Auto Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Battery removal and vehicle inspection.
- Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
- Pre- and post-overhaul procedures.
- Diagnose issues accurately and promptly.
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as fluid replacement and lubrication.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday: 12-hour day shifts; Monday to Thursday: 12-hour night shifts.
- Ongoing contract paid via limited company or umbrella company - Outside IR35.
- £20.00 per hour, with potential weekend overtime at a premium rate.
- Additional perks include onsite parking.
