Auto Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Mechanic to join E-ppl, a leading supplier of Managed Services within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will support our customer based in the Midlands.

Requirements:

• IMI Level 3 certification in Electric Hybrid Systems Repair and Replacement is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years\’ experience as an Auto Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Battery removal and vehicle inspection.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
• Pre- and post-overhaul procedures.
• Diagnose issues accurately and promptly.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as fluid replacement and lubrication.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday – Friday: 12-hour day shifts; Monday to Thursday: 12-hour night shifts.
• Ongoing contract paid via limited company or umbrella company – Outside IR35.
• £20.00 per hour, with potential weekend overtime at a premium rate.
