Our unprecedented growth means we now have a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our Roadside Patrol team.

As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence.

As a Roadside Mechanic, you'll handle diverse breakdowns and technical issues, making technical expertise essential. With a base pay of £35,000 your earning potential is unlimited, with average earnings between £43,000 to £53,000.

Roadside support is at the very heart of our business; our Roadside Mechanics deliver an exceptional and much needed service for our members. Our patrols will be out and about dealing face-to-face with our members, handling breakdowns, offering technical support and delivering the same exceptional service that they've come to expect from the RAC.
