We have a wonderful opportunity for a Domestic Couple to work for a family on their beautiful listed estate in Berkshire.
Responsibilities:
- House Manager/Handyman: Responsible for property management and household maintenance/repairs. Tasks include cleaning gutters, drains, windows, organizing contractors for electrical, plumbing, Wi-Fi, security, lift & gates, pool, tennis court, and pumps. Supervise deliveries, orders, and car maintenance.
- Housekeeper/Cook: Handle cleaning (including antique furniture, leather, carpets, wooden and stone flooring), manage laundry and ironing, and cook family-style healthy Mediterranean/English dishes. Assist with harvesting fruit and vegetables from the garden and orchard.
Schedule: Work regular weekends with two consecutive weekdays off, and one weekend off per month.
Additional Duties: Outdoor cleaning, dog walking, and pet care when clients are overseas. Looking after 8 hens.
Profile: This is a long-term role suitable for a professional, discreet, and experienced couple. A small household team is in place, so teamwork is essential.
Accommodation Details: Modern detached house with 4/5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, private entrance, garden, garage, central heating, and log stove. Utilities paid. Non-smoking household.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Domestic Couple for high-net-worth families, with excellent job longevity.
- Willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check.
- Excellent contactable references.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Valid passport.
