Responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in the hospital.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital.
- Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.
- Ensure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures.
- Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to keep all equipment operational.
- Repair any equipment that is malfunctioning.
- Install new equipment, including ductwork and piping for medical gases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications:
- Vocational/technical training and a minimum of five years of relevant experience or equivalent are required.
- RI Refrigeration License is also required.
