An Airdrie-based sub-contractor for a logistics company called Thinventory/Bybox, which provides a nationwide delivery service to engineers for companies such as Sky, British Gas, and Ovo, is looking to recruit a Driver/Courier to join their busy team. Freight is transported through the Thinventory/Bybox network, and the successful candidate will deliver these parts to exchanges across Scotland, typically to lockers located at garages or supermarkets.

The company currently has vacancies within their routes network (37.5 hours) and their Trunking system (40 hours). The hourly rate for the role is £13.00.

  • Routes Role (37.5 hrs): Involves driving and delivering freight to exchanges across Scotland using scanners, usually to lockers at garages or supermarkets.
  • Trunking Role (40 hrs): Involves delivering and receiving freight between depots within the Thinventory/Bybox network. Shifts are on a rota from the base in Coatbridge to sites in Warrington and Coventry.

Requirements include a driving license and flexibility. Some knowledge or experience with technical equipment such as scanners and mobile phones is preferred. Previous driving or delivery experience is not essential, as on-the-job training is provided.
