A new opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing Finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting operational teams with insightful analysis, robust reporting and financial decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across operational teams, providing accurate monthly accounts, supporting planning cycles, and helping to drive performance through meaningful financial insight. What you'll do:
- Support financial planning, forecasting and budgeting across functions
- Produce accurate, timely management accounts and performance analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to provide clear insight and challenge around key cost and performance drivers
- Deliver meaningful reporting and commentary to support operational decision-making
- Lead and support ad hoc analysis, projects and process improvements
- Help maintain a strong control environment and drive consistency in reporting and processes
What you'll need:
- Must be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting or finance business partnering role
- Confidence working with operational teams and presenting financial information clearly
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- High attention to detail and understanding of internal controls
- Strong Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus
