On behalf of our client, we’re hiring a Planning Engineer to join their Production Planning team. This is a great opportunity for someone with engineering and planning experience to play a key role in how products are built, documented, and delivered. You’ll help manage how products are configured, make sure manufacturing instructions are accurate, and support smooth communication between engineering, production, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create clear manufacturing plans that meet customer and product requirements
  • Maintain and manage work orders, build documents, and MRP system data
  • Process engineering changes and keep production aligned with updates
  • Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and production teams
  • Support cost estimates and bid submissions
  • Ensure accurate documentation and traceability throughout the product lifecycle

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in production planning or manufacturing engineering
  • Good understanding of mechanical/electrical assemblies and MRP systems (IRs, ECNs, NCR & Concessions)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or similar technical qualification
  • Experience in estimating and planning for light/medium mechanical or electrical manufacturing
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
