A leading global consultancy is expanding its SAP practice and is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant at Senior Manager level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing team delivering high-impact SAP Finance Transformation programmes to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant, you’ll play a crucial leadership role in guiding clients through complex finance transformations enabled by SAP S/4HANA. You’ll leverage your functional expertise, consulting experience, and strong stakeholder management skills to help major organisations operate more effectively, reduce costs, and modernise their finance operations.
Key Responsibilities of the SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant:- Provide leadership and hands-on functional consulting within SAP S/4HANA Finance projects.
- Manage a portfolio of clients while reporting to Director-level stakeholders.
- Oversee financial management and control across client engagements.
- Develop project strategies to solve complex technical and business challenges.
- Manage and deliver large-scale projects, assessing risks, driving conclusions, and reviewing team deliverables.
- Lead and develop project teams of 3-8 consultants.
- Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to pre-sales efforts.
- Influence clients on the adoption of automation and intelligent technologies within finance transformation programmes.
This SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant role is ideal for professionals who:
- Have extensive experience in SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance consulting.
- Possess strong knowledge across 2-3 SAP S/4HANA Finance functional areas.
- Have successfully delivered multiple full-cycle SAP ECC FICO and/or S/4HANA Finance implementations.
- Bring expertise in areas such as CO-PA, FSCM, Fixed Assets, or RAR.
- Have led solution teams of 3-8 people on major transformation projects.
- Have participated in at least 3-4 full Finance transformation programmes, including at least one leveraging S/4HANA.
- Bring previous consulting experience (required).
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Have experience in pre-sales activities; an accounting qualification or background is beneficial but not essential.
- Base salary: £72,000 - £110,000 (London) or £68,000 - £104,500 (regional offices)
- Performance bonus: £11,000 - £14,000
