Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for engine system development? We're looking for a Development Engineer - Air & Fuel Systems to join our high-performing client team, supporting the design, analysis, and validation of advanced engine technologies for medium to larger vehicle applications.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for developing and optimising air and fuel system components - including turbochargers, EGR, high-pressure fuel systems, and filtration - ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance throughout the engine development lifecycle.
What You'll Need
- Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 6-8 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and engine systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing principles and design-for-manufacture.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Expertise in high-pressure fuel systems, filters, EGR systems, air handling, and turbocharging.
- Experience with APQP, FMEA, and DVP&R processes.
- Background in off-highway diesel engine development.
- Proficient in 3D CAD (PTC Creo) and PLM tools such as Siemens TeamCenter.
- Skilled in simulation, rig testing, and system-level validation.
