About the Role
You will be tasked with providing daily administrative and organizational support to the team, along with managing relationships with external PAs and other Executive Assistants within the business. This will be a diverse and engaging role that will offer fresh challenges and opportunities for exposure to new projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- MD Support: Provide dedicated support to the Managing Director, including managing their complex calendar, travel arrangements, and ensuring they are fully prepared for meetings.
- Executive Team Support: Assist other directors as needed, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency across the leadership team.
- Board Meetings: Attend and document detailed notes for board meetings, prepare board reports, and ensure follow-up actions are tracked and implemented.
- Travel Management: Arrange and manage UK-based travel logistics, including booking flights, trains, and accommodations.
- Proactive Support: Anticipate the needs of the MD and executive team, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Systems Management: Manage and coordinate the use of internal systems such as SAP and Concur for travel and expense management.
- Presentation and Reporting: Assist with preparing presentations and reports for key meetings, ensuring all materials are professional, accurate, and timely.
- Challenging Accountability: Be comfortable in holding individuals accountable and working effectively in a high-pressure environment, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
About You
For this Executive Assistant role, we are seeking a candidate with an established EA or PA background, ideally within a large group. Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, or similar, would be preferable but is not essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills will be essential for this role, along with a proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Ideally you will be formally qualified within the EA/PA field and comfortable with producing presentations and communication documents. Experience with Travel Management would also be beneficial.

- Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, PA, or similar role, with a strong track record of supporting senior executives and teams.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive Attitude: Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the leadership team, and take initiative in managing tasks and solving problems.
- Experience in managing and booking complex travel arrangements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, with the ability to manage challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
While this is a remote position, travel will be needed to support the Executive Leadership team as necessary, therefore a Full UK Driving License and own transport will be required. Ideally, you will live within a commutable distance of Birmingham with travel to Dronfield.
