This is a part-time position working under the direction of special education and general teaching professionals to support inclusive programs for children with academic and behavioral challenges in small group and/or 1:1 settings. The assistant is a member of the inclusion and special needs teams responsible for implementing educational plans.

Duties also include supporting general building activities, student arrival, dismissal, and lunch.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated prior experience providing support services to students
  • Evidence of high education with coursework specific to Special Education preferred
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; college experience, especially in Special Education, preferred
  • Willingness to be trained in Crisis Intervention

Salary: Per Paraeducator Contract
