Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time delivery of compliant detail designs with a high level of quality
- Oversee and approve design definition models and manufacturing drawings
- Manage subcontract detail design from a technical perspective
- Ensure drafting work adheres to company processes and standards
- Maintain and update relevant processes to meet business needs
- Provide support and advice on task planning drawings to other business members
- Promote value engineering activities and cost reduction initiatives
- Support the capability management of drafting resources
About You
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
- Strong background in mechanical engineering principles and processes
- Proven experience in a responsible mechanical engineering position
- Detail design checking experience
- Familiarity with design of fabrication details (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
