Communications and Events Lead Department: Revenue Reports to: Commercial Director Reports: None Salary: £40,000-£45,000pa Remote/Hybrid: Head office based in Farnborough, Hampshire We are looking for an experienced and innovative marketer to support our next stage of growth of our product, PASS. The Communications and Events Lead is responsible for developing and delivering a compelling communications strategy for customers and prospects while managing our events across the UK and Ireland. You’ll have the support of an external agency and internal teams to succeed in this exciting and varied role. Core responsibilities Communications strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and brand voice. Research and benchmark competitor communications. Align strategy with external factors impacting our customers and target segments. Communications delivery With support from agency and internal teams, create both written and video communications to effectively engage key audiences, including existing customers and new business prospects. Plan and host engaging webinars, ensuring delivery of high-quality content, with the support of subject matter experts within the business. Produce tactical video content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, confidently speaking on camera to represent the company professionally. Support with the creation of compelling emails, banners, blogs, and other communication materials to support marketing and sales objectives. Events strategy Appraise effectiveness of customer and market-facing events. Develop a compelling and impactful portfolio of events Create an events strategy to align with our growth and customer engagement objectives. Events delivery Take ownership of the annual events calendar, including the planning and execution of events such as trade shows, conferences, and customer focus groups. Manage all logistics, including venue coordination, travel and accommodation arrangements, print collateral production, and event giveaways. Act as the primary on-site representative for everyLIFE, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation. Travel to events across the UK and Ireland each year Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Collaboration and coordination Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Work with the product team to understand prospect feedback and market trends Identify partners and external stakeholders to support growth objectives. Reporting and analysis: Track and report on performance metrics Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats Provide regular updates and reports to leadership. Team Contribute to Revenue team projects and objectives Bring insights and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team performance Work through agreed processes and systems to document activities and progress Support activities beyond core responsibilities, when required Qualifications and experience Formal marketing or related qualification At least 3 years of relevant experience Proven delivery of multi-channel marketing communications Creative design and experience of design packages Managed a broad range of events, including B2B Understanding of CRM and campaign scheduling software Experience of B2B and / or SaaS (preferred) Key competencies Project management Communications strategy Copywriting Proof-reading Event strategy and management Using Canva or similar design package Basic video production and editing Reporting Hold a full UK driving license Understanding of the care market Ambition to make a difference Please note that this is a UK based role and we are only able to accept applicants with the right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
