A leading and successful provider of analytical testing is seeking multiple Sample Receipt Technicians to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.
Role Overview
- Receive, record, weigh, split and extract samples in preparation for analysis.
- Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025.
- Temporary, Full-time (39 hours pw) Tuesday-Saturday. Rotating shifts each week (Mornings, Days, Afternoons) between the hours of 6 AM - 9 PM.
- Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends.
- Opportunities to go permanent and progress.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
- Experience working in a production/lab or similar relevant fast-paced environment highly beneficial.
- Must be available to begin immediately.
