Refuse Driver

Job Description

We have current vacancies for a Class 2 Driver to join the refuse operation in Matlock. You will be working in a team of 2 to 3 people, driving refuse trucks on the Derbyshire routes making domestic and commercial waste collections.

Duration: Ongoing with permanent contracts available.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: The salary for this role is £15.21 per hour PAYE along with 28 days holiday pro rata. The salary for this role umbrella is £18.40.

Working Hours: Your day will start at 06:00 and you should be all done about 14:00 – 15:00. This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with no weekends involved.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, drivers must have:

1. A full U.K. Driving License with HGV Class 2 Entitlement.
2. A valid CPC Card.
3. A valid Digi Tacho Card.
4. 6 Months commercial driving experience.
5. Refuse experience is desired, but not essential.
