Hinckley-Finlayson High School is seeking three 1.0 FTE Special Education Teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Two positions are working within our EBD program, and one position is working with SLD Math. Hinckley-Finlayson is a rural school district in east-central MN that celebrates learning! QUALIFICATIONS: Current MN Licensure in Special Education in ASD, DCD, EBD, SLD, ABS, or DAPE.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Work with a variety of students within any disability area
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Create thorough lesson plans and implement them effectively
- Conduct assessments to determine special education eligibility
- Maintain good data collection and monitor student progress
- Collaborate effectively and be a team player
- Work with and supervise paraprofessionals
