Build and lead a new Salesforce practice — own the technical vision from day one. We’re exclusively partnered with a leading digital consultancy launching a brand-new Salesforce capability. They are hiring a Salesforce Technology Lead — a highly strategic, client-facing technical leader who will define the technology vision, shape delivery standards, and guide some of the most high-profile Salesforce programmes across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to build a Salesforce practice at scale, influence C-level stakeholders, and establish best-in-class Salesforce delivery across both public and private sectors.

The Salesforce Technology Lead Role

As Salesforce Technology Lead, you will sit at the very heart of the practice’s leadership team — responsible for solution architecture, technical governance, and senior client engagements. You’ll partner with architects, delivery leads, and Salesforce themselves to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, commercially sound, and future-proof. In addition to driving complex delivery engagements, you’ll be instrumental in building out the team, mentoring senior talent, and representing the practice across the wider Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the Salesforce technology vision, architecture standards, and technical roadmap.
  • Act as senior technical authority for internal stakeholders, Salesforce partners, and C-level client executives.
  • Lead Salesforce delivery across complex, enterprise-scale projects and major transformation programmes.
  • Support pre-sales, bid work, frameworks, and client shaping conversations.
  • Champion platform-first and AI-enabled Salesforce solutions that drive meaningful long-term business value.
  • Build and develop high-performing Salesforce teams, coaching both architects and consultants.
  • Actively represent the practice within the Salesforce ecosystem as a thought leader and evangelist.
  • Drive consistent technical excellence, delivery innovation, and strategic alignment across the Salesforce portfolio.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Technology Lead (or equivalent senior technical leadership role).
  • Strong track record of Salesforce delivery leadership, including public sector or regulated industry programmes.
  • Excellent C-level stakeholder engagement and consulting capability.
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification (CTA highly desirable).
  • Deep platform expertise across Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, and Data Cloud.
  • Broad experience of SaaS delivery models (Agile, DevOps, modular and iterative delivery).
  • Integration expertise (Salesforce with AWS, Azure, M365, on-prem & legacy environments).
  • Understanding of UK government security, compliance, and assurance frameworks.
  • Commercially astute, with experience supporting bids under frameworks like G-Cloud, DOS, and TS3.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, developing, and mentoring high-performing Salesforce teams.
  • Willingness to travel (UK-wide, approx. 6 days/month).

Desirable:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Additional certifications (Public Sector Solutions, AI, Industry Clouds).
  • Active SC or DV clearance (or eligibility).

Why join as Salesforce Technology Lead?

This isn’t just another technical role — as Salesforce Technology Lead, you’ll have direct influence over how the practice operates, scales, and succeeds. You’ll own key decisions around technical delivery, frameworks, team growth, go-to-market strategy, and client engagement. If you’re a Salesforce leader seeking an opportunity to shape a practice from the ground up, drive complex enterprise transformation, and work at the highest level of technical strategy — this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
