We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to be trained and required to work at several of our client’s premises to assist us with the day to day responsibility of ensuring commensurate levels of physical security are in place for personnel and products. You will be working various hours covering Monday - Friday days or nights. Shift times will be: 06.30-18:30 and 18.30-06.30.

What you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
- Previous control room experience - essential
- Previous corporate security experience - essential
- A valid First-Aid qualification - essential
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per required.
- To assist in Front of House and Loading bay duties.
- To conduct CCTV investigations when instructed/required.
- Escorting and supervising when prohibited items are brought on or taken off the floor.
- Operate, monitor and audit the Smiths Scanner and Search process.
- Assist in the monitoring of the security processes and mentor production safety and security leaders.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out of hours security provision if applicable.
- Complete documents as required including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site-specific reports.
- Ensure you are familiar with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents.
- Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal such that your skills remain up to date, and in particular your first aid and fire marshal training is in accordance with legislative guidelines.
- Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- To respond to emergencies and assist with the evacuation and searching of buildings by following the requirements of the site emergency response procedures.
