We are looking to recruit a FEMALE Waking Night Support Assistant to join our Supported Living team, providing care to adults with disabilities in their own homes. Our team works around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year, to deliver exceptional care. There are many diverse and interesting characters you will meet in this role.

Due to current service demands, we require a FEMALE Waking Nights Support Assistant.

Hours per week: We currently have two shift patterns on a 2-week rolling rota:

  • Vacancy 1 - Average of 19.25 hours/week
  • Week 1: Sundays 10pm-7am, Thursdays 10pm-7am
  • Week 2: Thursdays 10pm-7am, Fridays 10pm-9.30am
  • Vacancy 2 - Average of 11.5 hours/week

    Waking night shifts are from 10pm - 7am or 10pm - 9.30am. Please note: from 10pm to 7am, the hourly rate is £13.52-£14.24; from 7am-10am, the hourly rate is £12.21.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing excellent support and care
    • Performing basic household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
    • Driving and maintaining the supported person's vehicle with respect

    Essential skills required:

    • Full UK manual driving licence
    • Basic numeracy and literacy
    • Empathy and compassion
