The Role:

As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Key responsibilities include:

1. Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces for painting.
2. Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to match vehicle colours and apply it using spray guns and specialized equipment.
3. Spray Booth Management: Ensure the spray booth operates efficiently, producing high-quality finishes.
4. Quality Control: Ensure all paint jobs meet both customer expectations and industry standards.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results.
6. Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised workspace while following all health and safety protocols.

About You:

We’re looking for an experienced, fully qualified Paint Technician with the following:

1. Proven Experience: Strong background in vehicle paint repair, ideally within accident repair environments.
2. Vehicle Expertise: Experience with a range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
3. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
4. Attention to Detail: A commitment to precision and quality in every task.
5. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
6. Qualifications: A Senior ATA Paint qualification is highly desirable, and we offer support in renewing or achieving it.
