Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking a Trainee Expeditor (Materials) to join our team and ensure the smooth flow of materials within our operation.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Support the Materials Team by assisting Category Buyers and Expeditors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Engage with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and track performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Learn to manage and update the SAP system, gaining valuable procurement and expediting experience.
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers to meet project milestones.
- Proactively address supplier performance issues, playing a key role in maintaining delivery schedules.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Willing to complete relevant procurement training.
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade 4+); ICT qualification is a bonus.
- Full driving license.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills to work with suppliers and teams.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
