Welding Lecturer (Variable Hours) £34.04 or £30.39 per hour depending on qualifications We offer an excellent pension scheme, family friendly policies, opportunities for training and development and an employee discount scheme. Hours: Evenings negotiable between 3 hours and 15 hours per week, depending on demand Qualified to level 3 in MIG, TIG and ARC welding processes. This is a teaching role which involves workshop learning, your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential. On a typical evening you will be: Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our Welding workshop Plate welding lap welds, fillet welds, open corner welds in a variety of weld positions Pipe welding 1G,2G, 5G, 6G in all welding processes Carry out destructive testing of students completed welds Relevant industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment.
