Salary: Up to 38K (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
As a warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, servicing, and dispatch while maintaining compliance. Coordinating logistics, stock management, and space organisation to optimise workflow are also at the core of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with proven experience in a similar position. An eagerness to join a fast-paced team where you will take ownership of coordinating a small team and overseeing warehouse activities is also essential.
Main responsibilities as a Warehouse Supervisor:
- Team Coordination
- Supervising workloads and overseeing activities
- Establish or adjust activities to meet current demands
- Propose training plans for development
- Logistics & Shipment Management
- Assure the timely preparation of shipments within defined periods
- Monitoring of orders in transit from distribution centers
- Guarantee the integrity of input and output loan kits
- Procurement and Forecasting
- Collaborative replenishment and purchasing activities
- Take part in Consensus Forecast and Investment Calls with Demand Planning
- Compliance & Operations
- Implement and ensure adherence to IOMs policies for warehouse management
- Maintaining warehouse and ensuring all regulatory requirements are upheld
- Inventory & Data Accuracy
- Ensure accuracy of internal warehouse data through stock counts
- Assure the correct management of expired products
Skills and experience required as a Warehouse Supervisor:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Informative Systems and Distribution Process flows
- Knowledge of WMS, with experience using JD Edwards Software desired
- Used to working in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Result oriented, with strong prioritisation skills
- Computer proficient
- Strong time management capabilities
