ESS Employment Ltd are seeking a MAC Operator to join our local client in Bristol.
Salary: £30k - £38k per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:45pm
Start Date: April 26
Location: Bristol

Responsibilities:
- Create repro’d/print-ready artwork from supplied customer files, following specifications.
- Check all files to ensure high standards.
- Produce technically correct print-ready files, considering packaging aspects like colours, varnishes, and printer specifications.
- Collaborate with the Pre-Press team to ensure accuracy and communicate issues.
- Meet deadlines for assigned clients.
- Prepare print stations from repro’d files for workflow.
Personal Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with industry-standard artwork production software.
- Experience with GMG Opencolor software.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Creative and technical thinking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
- Proactive attitude.
- Experience with Artios CAD (desirable).
- Previous packaging artwork experience, especially folding cartons.
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Esko Artpro/Artpro+.
- Experience with Esko Automation Engine (advantageous).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
