Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Category Buyer to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance. As part of Anglian Water's @one Alliance, we are on a mission to create a sustainable and resilient future for water. With an ambitious £2.3 billion capital investment in AMP8, we are revolutionising infrastructure, sustainability, and digital transformation to protect the environment and support growing communities.
As a Category Buyer, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring the right goods and services are procured at the right time, for the right price, and to the highest standards. Working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, your work will directly impact the success of our delivery and innovation goals.
What will you be doing as our new Category Buyer?
- Manage material codes and catalogue data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate purchase orders and contract numbers in line with procurement strategy.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders to meet strict service level agreements (SLAs).
- Track and resolve aged debt to ensure timely supplier payments.
- Partner with Expeditors to manage delivery timelines and supplier performance.
- Continuously improve procurement processes through innovation and data insight.
- Build collaborative relationships across the business and supply chain.
