As a Business Analyst, you will own the Discovery phase within our software release cycle. You will thoroughly prepare new features or enhancements for our IP Management System, IPfolio. You will then collaborate with Product Owners to deliver world-class business software to our client base.
About You β experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Excellent knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) or a legal background, 5+ years (Paralegal, IP Operations, Business Analyst, etc.)
- Previous experience working at a law firm
- Bachelorβs degree or relevant professional experience
- General business knowledge and/or coursework, plus a curiosity to continuously build that knowledge
- At least 5+ years using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Relevant Experience
- Experience working with an IPMS system such as Inprotech within a law firm
- Experience in system testing (Unit Testing, UAT, etc.) and/or End User training
- CITMA or CIPA qualification preferred
- Business analysis qualification or proven experience is advantageous
- Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Experience with business analysis software packages
What will you be doing in this role?
- The Business Analyst will work with law firm clients.
- Document client requirements effectively, distinguishing needs from wants
- Assist the Product team with implementation workshops, including requirements gathering, setup, analysis, and problem resolution
- Attend and actively participate in meetings related to client implementation projects
- Assist end users with software issues and escalate where appropriate

About the Team
This role reports to the Director of Product Management β IPfolio and collaborates closely with another Business Analyst and the Product Managers/Owners.
Working Hours
Full-time, permanent role based in our London office on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days in the office per week.
