The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team on afternoons.
Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, start times between 15:00pm to 20:45pm.
Job Type: Long term ongoing.
The role:
- Conducting collection runs from various customer sites.
- Safely transporting goods to and from our clients depot.
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assisting with manual handling tasks as required.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Ability to pass a driving assessment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
- Flexibility to work the available shifts, including weekends.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Be accustomed to working unsociable hours.
