Van Drivers – EVRI Barnsley

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team on afternoons,

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, start times between 15:00pm to 20:45pm.

Job Type: Long term ongoing.

The role:

• Conducting collection runs from various customer sites.
• Safely transporting goods to and from our clients depot.
• Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
• Assisting with manual handling tasks as required.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver’s license.
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Ability to pass a driving assessment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Flexibility to work the available shifts, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Be accustomed to working unsociable hours.
• Discounts at hundreds of high-street stores and supermarkets.
