We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team in Magor/Undy. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to an individual with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Working Hours:
- School holidays: Tuesday and Thursday 09:00 β 18:00
- Term time: Thursday 15:00 - 22:00
- Additional Days and Waking Nights may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clientsβ conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
