Customer Delivery Driver – Winchester Extra

About the role
Rate of pay: starts from £13.35 an hour, increasing to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours: We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; flexible options for as little as 12 hours are available.
Availability windows:
- Sun: 19:00 – 23:00
- Mon: 18:00 – 23:00
- Thu: 18:00 – 22:00
- Sat: 18:00 – 23:00
Shifts are scheduled within these times and you will receive three‑week notice of your exact schedule.
Responsibilities
- Ensure van and trays are clean and organized.
- Keep the back yard clean, tidy and free of litter.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load the van and check roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers about any changes to orders, offering refunds where appropriate.
- Handle product delivery with care, treating items as if they were your own.
- Inform customers they will not be charged extra for substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer’s time slot.
- Call customers before arrival if early.
- Contact the store if running 30 minutes or more late.
