Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic cover supervisor to work in various secondary schools in and around London, Hackney, starting immediately.

• You will have the opportunity to cover a range of subjects for students in KS3 and KS4, managing behaviour and controlling the class in line with school policies.
• As a Cover Supervisor, you will take on the responsibilities of a full-time class teacher during their absence due to sickness, training, trips, etc.

About the schools / job:

• Variety of mainstream secondary schools in and around Leigh and Wigan.
• Working with students in KS3 and KS4 (ages 11-16), with potential to work with KS5 students (ages 16-18).
• You will need a strong classroom presence and confidence in managing behaviour.
• Full-time or part-time flexible positions available.
• Ideal for graduates seeking classroom experience before teacher training.
• Lessons will be pre-set; your role is to ensure students stay on task and adhere to behaviour policies.
• Candidates should be adaptable, as coverage may span various subjects throughout the day.
