Medical Delivery Driver

Derventio Education is looking for an experienced delivery driver to join our multi‑drop medical delivery operation based at a depot in the Hemel area. The role starts immediately and involves delivering prescriptions to home addresses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 40‑50 small‑packet prescriptions per shift in a standard transit van with multi‑temperature compartments.
• Work a typical Monday‑to‑Friday rota, available to work one Saturday for every four shifts.
• Shifts start between 5.30 am and 8.30 am, with guaranteed five shifts per week (typical 48‑hour week).
• Record all deliveries accurately and maintain the van’s temperature control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six minor points.
• Experience in a multi‑drop delivery environment (or similar).
• Conscientious, friendly, with an eye for detail.

Salary and Contract

Rate of pay: £13.93 per hour. Roles offered on a temporary to permanent basis, subject to performance, with the above benefits incorporated into a full‑time contract.
