We require an experienced Purchasing Manager with solid MRP experience and previous strategic buying experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. My client is an established global manufacturer supplying EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees' contributions.

The Role:
- Managing a team of around 5 buyers
- Overseeing purchasing strategy, supplier capability, performance
- Placing orders & expediting, ensure on time delivery of materials
- Manage MRP/MPS/SIC
- Develop strong working partnerships with suppliers
- Monitor supplier inventory levels
- Reduce costs and lead times
- 38 hours are flexible. The earliest start time is 07:30 and the latest finish time is 18:00
Requirements:
- Experienced Purchasing Manager from a technical environment
- Experience in developing a team
- Strategic purchasing and supplier development background
- CIPS level 5 qualified
- Good knowledge of MRP - materials resource planning
- Able to read engineering drawings ideally
- Already living in Droitwich area
