Insight Employment is urgently seeking Counterbalance Flt Drivers for a client in Buckingham. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport or live locally.

The Client

Our client has been producing timber products since 1945 and is a leading supplier of specialised timber products and an advanced manufacturer of pallets in the UK. They supply a wide range of pallets and timber products across the UK and Europe.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Flt Driver, you will move stock inside and outside the yard for a timber manufacturing company. On-site training is provided.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Stocking production lines/Off-loading manufactured goods
• Unloading raw materials
• Loading finished products
• Housekeeping duties
• Maintaining a safe work area and completing daily checks
• Previous experience with timber products is advantageous
• Flexible approach to learning new skills
• Comply with health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience as a Counterbalance driver
• Valid Counterbalance licence (refresher within 3 years)
• Ability to read tape measures and understand the metric system
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent timekeeping
• Fluent English communication skills

Hours/Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30-17:00
• Friday: 07:30-11:30 (overtime after 11:30)
• Saturday (overtime): 07:00-12:00

Rate

£13.00 per hour
