Your duties also involve tipping the vehicle, taking products off the trailer in cages or trays and into the M&S Stores, and of course some manual handling. Who are we and where will you be? At Gist we are united by our core values; with safety and people at the heart of everything we do, we are progressive, accountable, collaborative, and ethical. Gist Crewe is one of our original distribution centres. It was built in 1981 to exclusively service the Marks & Spencer (M&S) Food contract. We’ve changed a lot since then, adopting innovative technologies to ensure our customer gets the most out of their supply chain. Operating two daily cycles, we take receipt of both chilled and ambient M&S Food products from suppliers. We then sort and pick product for each M&S Food store that is serviced by the Crewe depot. Product is then delivered to store within a 15 minute window. Additionally, the depot operates as a cross-docking hub for frozen product and Temperature Controlled Logistics distribution. Peak periods for the depot include Mother’s Day, Easter and Christmas, as well as M&S promotional events and product launches throughout the year.

Apply today and join us on the road to success. Upon application, if successful, you will be contacted by a member of the team and booked onto an initial introduction call to discuss the role at hand and next steps. We reserve the right to close a vacancy before the closing date in the event of an overwhelming response or a change in business priorities.
