Due to internal movement, an exciting opportunity has opened up in our Property & Estates team for the role of Property & Estates Technician. We are looking for a motivated individual with relevant experience in facilities and grounds maintenance, who thrives on taking ownership and pride in their work. It’s also important that you’re a team player who works well with others but is comfortable working on tasks as an individual at times. You’ll feel confident in the supervision of contractors and visitors, ensuring Health & Safety and compliance.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and review of relevant Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and SOPS. They will also be confident in the use of building maintenance systems like CAFM, BMS, and DALI and will be IT literate.
The role involves undertaking regular building inspections working from a PPM schedule ensuring that the upkeep of the buildings and estate is maintained; this will include general maintenance and repairs.
A relevant property maintenance-related qualification would be highly beneficial but not essential. Relevant experience will be taken into consideration.
For the right individual, it could be a great opportunity to work in a varied and dynamic environment. The post holder will ensure the Humber Bridge Health and Safety requirements are implemented to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Please note the postholder will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
