About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to become part of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bath. In this role, you will work one-on-one with students with SEN, focusing on their unique needs and helping them succeed in the classroom. As an integral part of the team, you will contribute to the student's educational, emotional, and social development. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1-to-1 support to children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist teachers in preparing resources and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

  • Track and document the child's progress, sharing updates with staff and parents.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies to maintain a safe and positive environment.

You will need

  • Enhanced DBS Check (We can assist with this)
  • Graduate in a relevant field such as psychology or criminology OR a good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English) plus prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
