Operating in school and university venues, we deliver a best-in-class learn-to-swim experience for children aged 3-11. By delivering lessons from school pools, we teach high-quality lessons to more children and support local communities. We also invest in local pools and help prevent closures across the country.

Your primary role will be to teach our swimming program for children aged 3-11, inspiring them to swim through fun and innovative methods, delivering excellent customer service, and making a difference in children\’s lives by providing opportunities to learn to swim.

In addition to teaching, you will use technology to track progress, work as part of a team, engage with customers, attend training and team meetings, and share best practices.

This role is for weekday evenings and weekends, on a self-employed contract with guaranteed hours.

Main Duties:

• Plan and deliver swimming lessons according to the scheme of work and lesson plans
• Integrate reward schemes into classes
• Ensure safe use of equipment
• Follow safety standards and conduct risk assessments
• Identify swimmers\’ abilities and encourage their potential
• Explain and demonstrate swimming techniques
• Develop skills and performance
• Create a positive, motivating environment
• Evaluate sessions and provide feedback
• Assess progress and issue certificates via our online portal
