Are you passionate about shaping minds through education? Do you thrive in a dynamic academic environment? Would you love the chance to inspire the next generation of learners? We are currently looking for a Humanities Tutor to join our busy team in Manchester.
As a Humanities Tutor, you will develop engaging materials in alignment with approved module specifications, deliver insightful lectures, and facilitate stimulating seminars. You will create assessments that align with module learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to students. Your role will also involve monitoring student engagement and supporting them in achieving their academic goals through collaboration with academic mentors and other staff. Moreover, you will play a vital role in quality assurance activities, ensuring that our teaching standards remain exemplary.
Hours of Work: Part-time, hourly paid contract
Humanities Tutor Requirements:
- A University degree; preferably a Master's (or equivalent) or higher (Masters is a requirement for teaching Pre-Masters)
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Strong IT and general administration capabilities along with proficiency in data analysis.
- A positive approach with a track record of being a successful educator.
