We’re looking for a web design apprentice to join a family owned company which is growing year on year, providing a brilliant opportunity to be a big part of the business long-term. The role will include designing full websites, deep diving into the latest technology and building amazing landing pages for our customers.

Skill/Experience Requirements

• Existing design portfolio essential
• Adobe Suite knowledge (e.g XD/Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of latest design technology such as Figma, Adobe XD etc.
• Basic knowledge of web CMS’s – WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace etc.
• Understanding of CSS/HTML preferred

Responsibilities will include

• Designing visually striking websites and landing pages
• Working with the Web Lead to work on new and existing client websites discussing wireframing, design ideas and more
• Attending client meetings
• Creating innovative ways to display client content and information on the web
• Researching latest design trends and marketing technology

Person Requirements

We’re looking for someone who’s organised, can work within time constraints and someone who’s able to both work with others and on their own. We need someone with a good eye for detail, with strong initiative, who’s able to self critique and produce high quality work. We’re ideally looking for someone who can take the role, add their own stamp on it and become a senior member of the team.

Also, a car will be required for transport to and from our Melton office and client meetings.

Further Information

Hours of Work: 9AM-5PM, 5 days a week
