Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Hemel Hempstead area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.

Hours: Nights, Monday to Sunday – up to 5/6 shifts a week, including weekends, on a rota basis.

Pay Rate: Nights – £18.22 per hour PAYE

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Job Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

The role includes:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery points.
• Handling runs with a focus on safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Assisting with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck, if required.
• Interacting professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
