TSR Legal are currently seeking a Partner to focus on development matters, to join a well-established and dynamic boutique firm in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented partner to play a key role in working on a broad range of existing development and real estate matters. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a commercial approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising clients on all aspects of commercial development matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and site assembly.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, development agreements, option agreements, and other key transactional documents.
- Providing strategic legal advice to developers, investors, and landowners on planning, infrastructure, and regulatory considerations.
- Conducting due diligence, including title reviews, lease analysis, and risk assessments.
- Managing transactions from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Working closely with colleagues across departments, including corporate, planning, and construction teams, to provide a seamless service.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends to provide insightful advice.
- Contributing to business development activities, networking events, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years' PQE in real estate.
- Proven experience handling complex development transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of property law, contracts, and planning issues.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to provide strategic advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment.
