We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Workspace Manager to oversee our thriving creative workspace in the heart of Birmingham. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious professional already working in the coworking sector to step up from a supporting role into full management responsibility. This role is office based.
Located in a beautifully designed, architecturally striking building, our workspace combines creativity with functionality. We're looking for someone with vision and energy to build on our existing success whilst driving growth and innovation.
The role will entail:
- Growing the Business
- Take ownership of occupancy levels and develop strategies to attract new tenants
- Nurture existing community and drive tenant retention
- Maximise meeting room hire revenue to boost income streams
- Support café operations and develop additional revenue opportunities
- Creating Exceptional Tenant Experiences
- Manage complete tenant journey from enquiry to lease renewal
- Create and maintain websites for the managed workspace
- Ensure all tenant spaces are maintained in perfect condition
- Arrange leases, licences, and all necessary agreements
- Oversee front of house reception and café operations
- Manage small catering team and coordinate with subcontractors
- Keep comprehensive records of test certificates and inspections
- Arrange Fire Risk Assessments and develop timely action plans
- Take ownership of fire and local authority enforcement requirements
- Conduct regular property audits to ensure ongoing compliance
- Act as Contracts Administrator for planned maintenance work
- Apply for grants for energy improvements
- Managing Finances
- Develop annual business plans and budgets and monitor performance against targets
- Maintain detailed records of all income and expenditure
- Ensure profitability whilst delivering high-quality services
The role requires:
- Previous experience in workspace management with proven track record
