We have a school that is seeking an energetic and passionate PE Teacher to inspire students and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. The successful candidate will deliver engaging physical education lessons, encourage teamwork and sportsmanship, and contribute to extracurricular sports activities. This role begins May 2025.

Duties of the PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.
  • Encourage student participation and skill development in individual and team sports.
  • Promote the importance of health, fitness, and well-being.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and lead school sports events, competitions, and after-school clubs.
  • Ensure the safe use of sports equipment and facilities.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, and confidence in students through sports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's physical education programme.

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching PE at primary/secondary level.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • A passion for sports and student development as a PE Teacher.
