Are you organised, people-focused and passionate about making a difference for patients, visitors and staff in your local hospital? The Community Involvement Department is responsible for the development and co-ordination of the trust's third sector provision which includes volunteering, fundraising and supporting community groups. The department also plays a major role in the governance, operations and promotional activities of the Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charity.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with exceptional people management skills to co-ordinate and support our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. A good understanding of the value that volunteers can bring to our hospitals is essential. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high quality services and maintaining a positive and productive working environment and playing a key part in improving the experience of people visiting our hospitals.
Our ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and with a keen eye for detail to drive the delivery of high standards. Our front of house service is currently open Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 4.30pm but, due to the nature of our work, occasional evening or weekend work is required to support events and activities. This post-holder will primarily cover services at King's Mill and Mansfield Community Hospitals but there may be occasion to cover for absence at Newark Hospital.
