JAB Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer on behalf of one of our Renewable Energy Clients located in Westhill, Aberdeen. This can be on a contract or staff basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the world’s largest current and upcoming Offshore Windfarm projects. Reporting operationally to the Project Engineering Manager / Lead Engineer you will be supporting engineering scopes across large scale Foundations, Cables and EPCI projects and tenders. What will you be doing? Take responsibility for project documentation & deliverables, liaising with subcontractors and internal specialists to deliver within contract schedule. Support interfaces & technical queries both externally and internally. Support subcontractors to ensure design and fabrication takes place in compliance with both internal and external standards. Ongoing review and monitoring of risks and opportunities to ensure these are identified, recorded, and suitably addressed. Contribute to internal meetings, client and subcontractor meetings, yard visits, mobilisations, and offshore works as required. Communicate best practice and lessons learned to other projects and stakeholders. What experience would we like you to have? BEng / BSc or Meng / MSc in Civil / Mechanical / Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent. Ability to prioritise own and others’ workload, managing both time and change control effectively. Commitment to Continuing Professional Development and a desire to develop and mentor junior engineers.
