Youth Worker
Learning to Lead Youth Resiliency, Surrey
Reporting to: Coordinator, Learning to Lead
Opportunity
Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) requires an experienced youth worker for the Learning to Lead Program – a youth resiliency program designed to build leadership skills through community connection and prosocial activities. Workers will support and participate with youth in weekly groups and monthly recreation and volunteer opportunities. Applicants should have experience being part of a multidisciplinary team, a strong background in collaborative planning, and the ability to meet youth where they’re at. They should recognize the ongoing influence of trauma and disconnection on the youth served and build on their strengths and passions to create meaning and strengthen resilience.
Regular Full Time (35 hours per week) | Grid 13 ($30.86 – $32.18/hour) | This position is in‑office and outreach based, not eligible for remote work.

Qualifications
- B.A. in a related field plus 1 year of related experience, or a Child and Youth Care Diploma plus two years’ experience, or a combination of related work experience/education with at‑risk/high‑risk youth.
- Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector.
- Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract with Business Insurance; use of own vehicle (mileage paid). Driver’s abstract must be submitted.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with trauma‑informed practices.
