You would be working for a world leader within the aircraft manufacturing industry on Cylindrical Grinding machines, to work on high precision components to very tight limits. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC machinist and in return the company offers great prospects and excellent benefits.
Starting salary will be circa £33,500 depending on previous experience. Hours of work are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, with a 13:00 finish on Fridays!
Duties include:
- Set and operate Myford Cylindrical grinders
- Working to AS/ISO approved standards
- Fit and dress grinding wheels
- Use MRP systems for recording time spent on various jobs
- Surface grinding high precision components
Experience required:
- Experience working in an engineering environment
- Abrasive Wheel certificate
- Manual CNC grinding experience
- Working to tight limits
- Must have a good work ethic, a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure
