Major Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley. This industry leader specializes in manufacturing Engine Cooling Systems for Off-Highway Vehicles. Due to an increase in work load the business is looking for Welders to join the factory team on a long-term ongoing basis. Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds. Are you an experienced Welder seeking a new opportunity? Look no further! As a Welder, your responsibilities will be: Work in a dynamic factory environment. Operate advanced machinery and heavy-duty industrial equipment. Showcase your exceptional skills in TIG or CMT Welding. Demonstrate your expertise in manual handling. Prioritize safety and adhere to health and safety guidelines. Follow plans & manufacturing processes. Handle potentially heavy items and a variety of tools. The ideal candidate: Previous experience of TIG or CMT Welding. Proficiency in manual handling, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads. Strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance. Effective timekeeping. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Working hours: Weekly alternating: Week 1: Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm, Friday: 6am-11:00am Week 2: Monday-Thursday: 2pm-10pm, Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm Pay: Starting pay is GBP14.26 per hour during probation period, raising to GBP15.12 after 12 weeks.
