The role offers the opportunity for a broad range of work as the team works for insurers, brokers, and corporate clients on property damage work including defending liability claims, pursuing high-value recoveries, and advising on coverage and customer complaints. The team also pursues recoveries of money and assets stolen through fraud, including injunctive relief and work for corporate crime insurers.
We seek solicitors with a strong academic background and at least 2+ years of experience in this practice area. Candidates should have sound technical ability, with experience in multi-track property damage liability claims, subrogated recoveries, and policy coverage disputes. Experience handling complex disputes related to fires, water and oil escapes, subsidence, and construction & engineering incidents is required. We value excellent communicators, litigators, confident negotiators, and those with strong commercial acumen. Experience in resolving disputes through various forms of ADR is also desirable.
