Position: Primary or Secondary level Tutors

Location: Stafford

Hours: Flexible part-time (work as much or little as you like, up to 30 hours per week)

Salary: £25 - £30 depending on experience

About Us

At Randstad, we collaborate closely with the local authority in Worcester to provide additional tutoring for students in Maths, English, and Science. We welcome motivated individuals who work with children in the area and are passionate about entering the field of education. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style
  • Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record achievements
  • Deliver engaging sessions catering to various learning styles
  • Achieve measurable outcomes to evaluate session impact
  • Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders to support students
  • Follow KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines

Desired Experience

  • Experience tutoring one-to-one or in small groups, supporting students with additional educational needs
  • Ability to accept supervision and constructive feedback
  • Experience working in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions
  • Familiarity with supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people, or looked-after children

Essential Qualities

  • Inspirational, effective, and adaptable communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT, access to a laptop/computer, and audio-visual capabilities
  • Reliable broadband and internet connection
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships and motivate students
